Laurent Pouille

Professional Overview

Professional Biography

Laurent advises executive boards, individuals, and multinational groups on structuring, tax risk management, and litigation strategies.

Doctor of Tax Law and former lecturer in international tax law, he combines academic grounding with over two decades of practical experience, having supervised more than 100 tax audits conducted by the French DVNI.

His involvement in complex audits has led to repeated engagements in high-level matters involving corporate restructuring and contentious proceedings, often at the intersection of fiscal regulation and strategic business transitions.

Laurent regularly contributes to journals of reference in tax law such as Droit Fiscal, Fiscalité Internationale, Jurisclasseur Fiscal — and is an active member of the IFA and the IACF. His writings explore the shifting contours of cross-border taxation and the long-term legal implications of audit practices.

Finance Monthly featured his practice in its Taxation Awards editions (2019–2021).
